Artistic Photography
Spending a lot of time with a camera in my hand I often get the chances of catching shots of the world around me not focused on featuring wildlife (despite the inclusion of them occasionally), but rather the atmosphere of the surroundings, including architecture and other manmade structures or inventions. Sometimes this results is what I would call Artistic Photos, which I define as an expression of my creativity through the use of the settings on my camera, manipulation of light, or simply the experimentation with orientation and composition.
Like with all photography, the process always starts with the ability to spot something that I think would look interesting or evocative from a certain angle, and highlight details that would otherwise be overlooked or neglected in our everyday whereabouts.
This is my opinion, is when photography can be classified as an art form - the photographer’s individuality expressed through the lens of his or her camera.
