Having grown up in Denmark and spending many summers in Sweden the Scandinavian nature has a very special place in my heart. And the birds that have been a part of my childhood were the ones that lay the foundation of my interest in birds. Later, when I got into photography, my interest only grew since I got to spend even more time with the birds that I had seen throughout my childhood, getting to know them even better when spending hours in their company while in the field. As you’ll see below I find the beauty of seabirds especially alluring, and given the fact that my home country is surrounded by ocean, there are plenty of opportunities to photograph them as well.
